The Laugavegur hike between Landmannalaugar and Þórsmörk is the most popular and most legendary hike in Iceland – and has even been hailed as one of the best hikes in the world. Although most people choose to start in Landmannalaugar – there are some who prefer starting in Þórsmörk. And doing so has at least one major upside – a dip in the local natural geothermal pool at Landmannalaugar is the perfect relaxation at the end of the hike.
