Northen Lights Bus

Tour location: Pick up in Reykjavík – short drive away from the light pollution of the city.

Tour description: We head in the direction with the most chances of seeing the northern lights, avoiding the light pollution of the city. We bring along warm drinks to get a bit of warmth into our passengers during the cold night.

Tour details:

  • Duration: 3 – 5 hours
  • Guidance: English
  •  Dress extremely well, preferably in layers.

What is included?

  • Pick up to accommodation in Reykjavík, which starts 30 minutes prior to departure
  • Drop off after the tour near your hotel 

Availability

  • Daily at 9 pm when conditions allow from September to April
Terms and conditions: The northern lights are a natural phenomenon. Sightings cannot be guaranteed even if the tour is operated. We know at about 5 pm the same day if conditions are favorable to operate the tour. Please check Sterna Travel’s facebook page here to see if the tour will be operated or not.
 
If no Northern Lights are seen, we offer passengers to take the trip again for free. If you book a Northern Lights tour but conditions do not allow us to run the tour during your stay we refund the ticket in full.
