Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, TREX will be cooperating with Reykjavík Excursions this summer of 2021.
Skógafoss – one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Iceland. It is about 60 meters high and 25 meters wide, and as the name implies it runs from the marvellous Skógá river. This is the starting point of the famous Fimmvörðuháls hiking trail – a 23 km long hike over to Þórsmörk, the valley of Thor, through an incredibly diverse landscape.
We have daily departures to Skógar from Reykjavík. For detailed information on departures please see our timetable.
For info and booking accommodation in huts on the Fimmvörðuháls trail, please visit the website of the Iceland Touring Association (FÍ): https://www.fi.is/en/mountain-huts/all-mountain-huts/fimmvorduhals-baldvinsskali
